Choose a format
We discuss whether individual or group learning fits your aim.
Individual and group guitar
Choose individual focus or the shared energy of a small group. Both routes develop technique, listening and a repertoire you can make your own.

01
Guitar is the only programme at our studio offered both individually and in a small group. Individual lessons allow a personal pace and detailed technical attention; group lessons add listening, coordination and the pleasure of playing together.
We talk through the student's aims and experience before choosing the more suitable format.
02
Good foundations include a relaxed relationship with the instrument, a clear sense of pulse and gradually developing hand coordination. These skills come alive through repertoire that fits the student's level and taste.
03
Content changes with age, previous experience and goals. A child making a first musical connection, a teenager building a repertoire and an adult returning to guitar each follow a different, supportive route.
Lesson Process
Rather than following one fixed formula, each programme follows three core stages and evolves with the student.
